Overview
Intrax English Institute lacked a means to efficiently process student applications online. I proposed an easy-to-use online application that would encourage customers to commit to course enrollment. In addition to payment information, the application would capture important data that could be used by the institute to streamline application processing.
The Project
I defined project goals and guidelines after meeting with Intrax English staff to assess priorities and best approaches for the product. After conceptualizing the product's feature set and supporting specifications, he designed a web-based user interface as well as the back-end information architecture (relying on Cold Fusion and Microsoft SQL Server) to support the company's online application for program participants.
What Happened
The application's implementation produced a 500% increase in the number of applicants registering online as well as driving $50,000 of additional revenue to the organization's bottom line since launch.
