Who is AuPairCare?
AuPairCare matches qualified au pairs from around the world to live and provide childcare services to American host families.
Overview
AuPairCare had experienced ongoing problems cycling their inventory of available au pairs to interested host families. In addition, the company had to devote significant resources to manually managing the matching process.
The Project
Working closely with AuPairCare's program director, I built out a project plan that defined an online matching product that would meet AuPairCare's needs. I then shepherded the project to an eagerly anticipated launch date. I also led the design of the application's front end and worked with a team of programmers and developers to ensure that the site performed to spec.
What Happened
Since launch, Family Room has allowed AuPairCare to save $200K in annual operational expenses by automating manual and labor-intensive placement processes. Easy to use search capabilities have reduced the time in which it takes AuPairCare to place an au pair by 300%. Emphasis on user-friendly design has produced positive customer feedback and increased sales resulting in a 35% customer increase.
What They Said
"Thank to Family Room, this was AuPairCare's best year ever. I don't think we could have done it without Jonathan.
He is very thorough and his attention to detail is outstanding. He kept us all on track and made sure that the product was as much focused on our customer's satisfaction as it was on improving our back-end operations. As a result of his hard work, project management and product design skills, Family Room has transformed the way AuPairCare manages its business."
